Lost and Found

Hi Everybuddy -
Whew.....we've been busy over here! Mom's been pretty stressed out - whatever that is. Maybe she means "stretched out" like when I put my hind legs straight out behind me like a frog. Anwoo.....she's a bit happier now. But yesterday she was NOT real happy! Seems that somebuddy named "the Bank" lost some of her money. She was so mad that she kept talking about the money that grows on trees. The trees that we don't seem to have in our state. I'm figuring this is what the money tree might look like. A04, do you have any $$ seeds that grow these trees in your garden?

I didn't know what was going on until Shyla told me. All I knew was that Mom was M-A-D!

"Psst.....Mom said Mr. Bank ate her money!"

I was worried. What if we don't have any money to buy treats??!! Uh oh! This could get serious. Meeka decided to beat a hasty retreat so he didn't get in Mom's way:

All is well now though. A yellow and red van came to our house and some nice but very frightened man handed Mom an envelope. Whew! I don't know why but I think I saw fear in his eyes. Mom said the man gave the envelope to somebuddy else by mistake. Lucky they didn't buy lots of treats with it! Mom is happy now. She said tomorrow we might make our directorial debut with a movie about how I love Rice Krispies! I think I might have to find myself a manager to negotiate a contract....anybuddy up for the challenge?

Hi Echo, My name is Cosmos. I found my "forever" family through MaPaw back in Feb. 2007. My foster family was The Stoutino Inn. They placed me around 1-1/2 yrs. old when I adopted my family. So, my mommy selected July 10 to be my birthday & I will be 2. At least you don't have to give up your snax & that your mommy is no longer unhappy. I wuv honey nut cheerios for breakfast. Haven't tried rice krispies yet. I am always looking for new buddies. Will you be one of mine? You can read about me & other members of my family on mommy's blog page (always a works-in-progress-she just started this blog thing) at I'll get back to woo soon. Mommy said that she'll add you to our blogs & friends list. Woo again to you soon.

Oh NO. At least all the money is back and you don't have to worry about treats or food.

If you find some of those tree seeds will you send some? I really want a new bed and some other stuff.

Cosmos - Hey there buddy! I remember you! Do you still like to sing? I know your foster mommy misses you but we all know you have a great home. I'll put your blog on my favorites list. Welcome!

Thrawn - Yeah. That was a bit too close! I almost had to beg for food! We'll see if our pals at AO4 can come up with some of those money tree seeds.

Sitka - Yep...I said Rice Krispies. Stay tuned for more on that.

Turbo - My Mom thinks banks are stupid too. She said if she didn't have a waterbed, she'd keep her money underneath the mattress. HAROOOO!

But, my mommy said that I can keep in contact with all of you on this thing called an internet. Mommy-Marlene keeps in contact with my foster mommy so we don't lose touch. Talk to you soon, Cosmos

Ha roo, Echo! Wow. We have a snowball bush and I saw on Marvin's blog one time a CAT that was growing in a tree (or he was doing SOMETHING up there!) but money? Hmm... I asked Stormy and she told me money doesn't grow on trees. I'll have to check the bushes, then. It's gotta come from somewhere!
Play bows,
