Big Britches

Hi Everybuddy -

Woo! It's been a few days since Mom has let me use the computer. She's was holed up in her bedroom with the laptop for a couple days because she had the flu. She said my paws are much too pawsome for the laptop so I had to be patient and wait till she felt better and could turn on the big computer. She's doing much better now which is good. Whew - we were waiting on her paw and tail and I need a rest! We're going to get a good night's sleep tonight because we smell SNOW in the air! That's right - they said it's going to snow tomorrow so I'll need all my energy to go in and out and in and out and in and out.

Today I'd like to share with you something that Mom is finding very amusing. Remember our Shy, demure little Shyla? You know - the one who only spoke when spoken to, and the one who would wait until she was invited to come up on the sofa? She has found her personality. Take a look:

That's what Mom saw when she went down to the family room. Shyla is now known as Little Miss Big Britches. Not only does she love to pile up ALL the bones for herself, she is wooing at Meeka (you know - The Prince) when he tries to take one! Woooooo! Nobuddy yacks at Meeka. He's been such a good sport about it. He's a bit perplexed and looks at Mom as if to say "Ummm.....she needs to read Chapter 3 in the manual!". In the meantime I'll have to talk to Shyla about sharing. Besides - those are mine anyway. Harrroorooroo!

Hi, Echo!
I hope your mom is feeling better now!
Shyla does a good job watching those bones that are not hers! I hope you got them back!
Kisses and hugs

I had to take care of Dad when he was sick, too. It's hard work!
I also take all the bones. If I'm not in the mood to chew on them I hide them around the house so nobody else gets them. If I do want to chew on them, then I pile them up and chew on the top one. I don't think my pile has ever been that big though!

Hi Echo,
Big Ab here - I can sympathize with you. That little Rosie was so meek and mild mannered at first. But the wind has changed here too. Although her bones are off limits to me (you should see the fuss she makes when I just walk by her) she thinks it's ok to sneak off with mine as soon as I take a break. The nerve of that little dog. We need to show them who's the boss!

That's a lot of bones!! Don't people always say, "you have to watch out for the quiet ones"? Sounds like that may apply to your cute pup. :)
