I Help Decorate

Hi Everybuddy -
We've been very busy decking the halls here at home! Mom loves to decorate and makes sure everyone pitches in. That meant me too of course. There's lots to be done! Here's Shyla helping Dad inspect the lights:
"I believe there's a bulb missing there Dad"
After that, my assistance was required to decide whether the bead garland was shiny enough to put on our bewootiful tree:

All of these decisions are enough to make a Siberian's head spin! It's a good thing we're known to be calm and cool under pressure. Finally it was done. Doesn't it look pretty?

Do you see Shadow on her throne admiring our hard work? You can also see Shyla's gigantic poofy tail there on the bottom of the photo. Silly girl!
A little while later Mom noticed something missing. How does she know all of this??!!!!???
Look:

Yeah, yeah.....that's a bare spot. You're right Mom. Something was there. ::sigh:: I decided to help out. Ornament inspection is not a job to be taken lightly and I discovered we may have missed one. Take a look:

That's a reindeer. Do you notice something funny about him? Something's missing and IT WASN'T MY FAULT!
I believe that would be his antlers. Just because they were found on the bed that I happened to be lounging on does NOT mean that I'm responsible. At first I went the route of saying not all reindeer have antlers. Guess what? Apparently they do. That's dumb and very inconvenient at a moment like this. I believe Mom has some gluing to do. She needed another project anyway. We wouldn't want her to feel as though she wasn't needed. So Mom - You're welcome! Whatever would you do without me??

Huskies are always getting blamed for stupid inconveniences!

What's going on? You were just helping to inspect the reindeer. They should be glad that you found out that the antlers were coming off - isn't that right, Echo?!?!

I think you did an excellent job with that inspection. Your humans should be thankful to have such a diligent worker on their hands!

Hey! We have a reindeer VERY similar to that! Mom broke it's antlers! I saw her! Besides ... they're made from actual sticks somebiped glued on.
Do you think you can use the whole "ate tiny reindeer" thing? Hmm... maybe you need to see Amber's Christmas Advice from today. Oops.

Way to keep 'em guessing. Mom found an ornament from our tree on the floor today....but none of us are telling!

Great job helping with the decoration, especially the inspecting. And reindeers do NOT have antlers!

I so understand your plight. That reindeer looked fun to take. Why do that torture us so. Besides, they like putting these things back together.
