Hi Everybuddy -
It's that time again - the Peeps are here! We love Peeps. Mom loves Peeps too. For those of you who don't know what a Peep is take a look:
They're very yummy I'm told. Luscious globs of marshmallow covered in fine colored sugar and are traditionally enjoyed around Easter but can now be found in all sorts of holiday shapes and colors throughout the year.
Mom has them stashed all over the place in hopes that no one will find them. She's not very good at sharing her Peeps. She really needs to work on that. The National Geographic channel (one of our most favorite channels I might add) is running a contest. They want to know where you take your Peeps. They ask that you post a picture of your Peeps visiting someplace interesting. You can read all about it here. Here's some pictures they used for inspiration:
I couldn't let this opportunity go by so I asked Dad to fire the camera up. We let a Peep out of the package and he found all sorts of places to visit. Take a look:
Who knew they liked to swim? :
Ruh Roh.....we had to rescue the little guy when we saw this:
I'd like to add that no Peeps were harmed during this demonstration......just so you know.
Here it is. The perfect place for a Peep to visit:
My crate! I promise to take real good care of it! Where do your Peeps go?

I believe the proper place for a peep is in your belly.

My peeps, if I am lucky enough to nab one or two, go directly to my tummy, via my toofers! Whoooo!

Our Mom doesn't like peeps - can you believe THAT? We just might have to bribe the little bipeds to bring us some from their Easter baskets.
Nice train set.

We like the peep-in-a-boxcar, furry funny!
Our mom's never cared much for peeps (or marshmallow eggs), but she says they are pretty cute.

Mom wants to take a picture of a peep in my mouth. I think that's a MIGHTY fine idea. We just might have to take that shot over and over and OVER again! HA roo roo roo!

My mom bought some purple peeps the other day, but she didn't share any with me and I didn't know about this contest. I hope I can get her to go buy some more so I can take them on adventures.

Hi, Echo!
We don't have Peeps here and they look delicious!
I agree. The best place to have it is in your belly!
Kisses and hugs

Yeah, we just bet you'll take good care of it. Has it been seen again?
Ohhhh I LOVE peeps!! Scratch that... we ALL love peeps!
Hugs,
Sitka
Maverick's right -- the best thing is to put 'em in the microwave for a while and watch 'em expand. It's like watching Bruce Banner turn into the Incredible Hulk, except delicious.
