Hi Everybuddy -
It's time to reveal the source of the mysterious photo which appears in my last post. Here's a slightly different view which might provide a bit more of a clue as to what it is:
Give up? It's a bush in front of my house! Doesn't it look spoooooky? Mom's not quite sure how tree lights became a traditional Halloween decoration but she decided to think outside of the box this season. This happens to be our "Burning Bush" which now has some lovely red leaves. The orange lights cast an eerie glow at night so it appears as though the bush really is burning. Very clever Mom! All of this spookiness brings to mind something else that can be quite entertaining. Ghosts.....Woo! Modern technology allows us to ghost hunt without even leaving the comfort of our own homes. Shyla would like to point out that it's a much less stressful way than hunting ghosts in real time. Bravery isn't one of her strong points:
Today we'll share the link to the ghost cams set up in the notoriously popular Willard Library which is located in Evansville, Indiana. For many years there have been reports of many sightings, particularly of their most popular resident - The Gray Lady. Library historians aren't certain exactly who the Gray Lady is. Some believe that it might be Louise Carpenter who was the daughter of the library's founder. When her father passed away he left most of his fortune to the library and not Louise. It is said that Louise now roams the library protesting her loss. Through the years there have been many, many sightings and occurances attributed to Louise - books being tossed off of shelves, faucets being turned on and off, and a strange scent of perfume which sometimes lingers.
You can see some of the questionable views captured on the library ghost cams here. Watch for yourself and let us know if you see her and if you do - tell her Echo said "Woo!".

That's a cool bush! So I guess it has nothign to do with aliens then.
We looked at the ghost pictures and should have known better. Mom is paranoid now because she's very sure her building that she works in is haunted.

Such interesting information woo give us today.
We have a burning bush here too but it never burns very brightly because some silly biped who lived here before we did planted it in the shade.

My boy & humom saw the same ghost on different occasions. Neither one knew about the other till a couple years later, cause they didn't tell anybody what they saw! They said they weren't scared at the time, but it is pretty weird.

Just better hope that bush doesn't start talking like it does in the Cecil B. DeMille classis " The Ten Commandments".
Now that would be spooky.
Love your decorations. Your furmom must be cool!
