Lawn Furniture

Hi Everybuddy -
Despite the fact that it's been unseasonably cold here in PA, they claim spring and summer is coming. I am a Siberian which typically would indicate that I'm less than amused with summer, but spring I can handle until the novelty wears off and my DNA kicks in and tells me it's time for ice, sleet, and SNOW! This is the season that we see everyone outside trying to revive what's left of their yard. This always amuses me. The humans rake up their lawns, dig in the dirt, sprinkle seeds, and complain when the birds eat them. What did they think would happen? Birds - seeds - you get the picture. So they run back outside and sprinkle more seeds. Miraculously at some point the seeds turn into vibrant green grass. It grows and grows. Then what do they do? They cut it! I will never understand the logic of the human mind. This obsession with grass led me to an interesting discovery. Grass chairs. Anyone that knows me knows that I'm a guy that appreciates a comfortable chair. Here I am folded into one of my favorite living room chairs:

Mom has come to the conclusion that it's not that I find it comfortable since it's pretty obvious in her opinion - I do not fit. She thinks I do it just to bug her. We won't comment on that. Anyway, I have found the perfect option for the yard this year. Take a look:

Grass chairs! Isn't that amazing? I will no longer lament over how to persuade Mom to place my favorite living room chair in the backyard! All you do is order the frame, place it in your yard, cover it with soil, and sprinkle the grass seed on it. You can order it here. You might note that the soil is not included in the kit but I'm quite certain you would be able to hire a willing Siberian to do some excavating in your yard to come up with some. So grab Mom's plastic card and order your very own Lawn Chair today!

Echo, this is perfect! Mom always tells me I should get a job, especially since Canidae prices went up. I can now dig holes for people to put their grass chair frames into! Pawsome. I've got to work on my resume.

Echo, I have a favorite chair just like that...the one you're in; not the grass ones. Those are very weird.

Now that is a nifty idea! Except Jan's would most likely be covered the same as the lawn - in weeds.

Thanks for the heads up!

Meeka,

What a wonderful find! Have y'all ordered at least 4? We'll help with dirting, digging, earth moving, or whatever involves making a biggo mess. We completely agree with the human insanity with grass. Glad you're speaking up!

Hi, Echo!
Those grass chairs look pawesome!
But I don't have a yard so, I think a normal chair inside my house will be fine for me!

That is cool but mom wants to know how you would keep the bugs off you and the chair

Wow. Didn't think you were serious till I went to the site. Kind of a good idea, there. But how would the humans cut the grass on those? I don't think the lawnmower things would really work...

Woos,

hahaha - you should open your very own excavating service! Our mom had to mow the grass today too. We watched from the windows and barked anytime someone walked by with a dog. I mean how could they walk on our turf!

Yes, Echo. You are all definitely unique! And although your mom will miss you terribly when you're gone (and that better not be any time soon!!!), cloning would not bring you back.

Although we feel for those who choose to try to clone, we do not understand it at all. There are millions of animals already without homes.

Echo! how cool is that. mommy has created moe-hills fur us to leap over but we're gonna have a chat with her and maybe she will try to create us some grass chairs ... we'll get back with you if we are successful but we think you should offer the public your service

Echo,
Your post couldn't have come at a better time. Just yesterday, I carefully laid down grass seed and then watched in horror and indignation as a bunch of birds dined on it. Thanks for reminding me to take that with a grain of salt (or grass).

I could lay in one of those all day!

I think your mom's chair looks more comfortable and you should keep at it. Especially since it bugs her. Each pup should have his/her very own chair. It's only fair.

If that isn't the most awesome thing ever, then I don't know anything about awesome things. Which is untrue, because I know everything about awesome things.

I bet Ziggy would poop on mine just to be a brat.

You are SO right about the illogic of human logic... we don't quite get it either. Cool here on the East Coast, too...not that we're complaining!

Hey those grass chairs are very cool! I dig my own chairs in the yard, I call them "dirt chairs", ha-woo woo woo!

Star & Jack a-roo too
