More Home Destruction

Hi Everybuddy -
It's been busy here at my house. We knew something was coming because Mom started packing stuff in boxes. We didn't think we were moving so that meant another home destruction project. This is getting a bit old. All this work is exhausting! Every time we turn around Dad needs us to help with another project. This one was a bit different though. Look where we ended up!
"HEY! What's the big idea??"

"Woo! I see sharp things."

Dad mentioned something about nails, tacks, and feety feet. Ouch! We decided we'd wait until the coast was clear. Eventually he couldn't go any further without us so he sprang us:

"Watcha got there Dad?"

It was time to rip out the old carpeting so Floor Guy can come and put in our wood floor! Dad needed some help with the pulling and tugging. That's a Siberian specialty so I jumped right in to assist:

Shyla provided lots of encouragement so Dad wouldn't give up:

"Good job Dad!"

Meeka was concerned:

"Nobuddy asked me whether we should chop the carpet into pieces."

"I've worked hard to get it smelling like that!"

"Here I am! Who needs another picture of Meeka....do me instead!"

Here's Shadow helping. She's worried her chair is going out next:

"I'm not movin!"

The most important task finally came. Dad assigned it to me of course since I'm the official floor tester. It was time for the sit test:

"It's a bit hard and not smelly but it'll do."

And so ended Day #1 of our new Home Destruction project. Stay tuned for updates. Bring your dust masks! I heard Dad mention something about bunnies in the house. Whew! It's a good thing we get an extra hour of sleep tonight. This is hard work!

Oh my goodness. What a busy day you'all had. I like Meeka protecting her chair. That is just too much.

All of you just get right in and help. You'all could have your own tv show.

That picture of you four from the other side of the fence is great. You did such a great job retelling the events of the day I almost feel like I was there myself.

Echo, you drove by ouandiop by to sao? We would have shared our ham! You're welcome to visit anytime. But we can see it was a busy day at your house, so maybe next time

okay, I don't know what happened in that last comment - it's supposed to say "You drove by our house and didn't stop by?"

Wowzers, Echo! At first I was going to say "How are you 4 supposed to help with that gate up!?!" but then I saw your dad came to his senses and let you guys help. This is so exciting! Dave got to go to a flooring store one time, but we didn't get to help with anything other than him choosing the tiles and grout color. No "paws on" work. You guys EXHAUST me, you're working so hard!
Storm said Shadow looks like a queen on a throne! And said, "Way to go, not moving!" Is she part Siberian?
You have bunnies coming? Wow. We haven't seen Oswald lately ... maybe he's moving to your house!

Zim

Our parents put in those same kind of floors in the spring. They didn't want our help either! But, we had to use the doggie door, so they couldn't keep us out. We just kept checking a lot to be sure they were doing it right and walking on it to make sure it was going in like it was suppose to.

Ohwoo Echo,
We feel your destruction pain! Mama says our perfectly smelly carpets are coming out by the end of the month so they're gonna be tearing our house up soon, too! Daddy wanted to get wood floors like yours but mama's afraid they wont stand up to the husky claws & FL sand, so I think we're gettin ceramic tile instead.
Woo pups did a great job helping your dad, and thanks for the pictures, very instructional for our upcoming destruction activities!

Bama & the RHP
