Whinnies & Woos

Hi Everybuddy -

Today's an important day! I know because my girl is excited. There's a horse show tonight and she's competing. This is an important one because she needs the practice for an even more important one next Saturday. I figured she could use my help to get ready. See:

"This smells funny"

After giving it some thought, I figured since we all know that sometimes horses can be stubborn,
I would volunteer to be her stand-in if things got rough. I can walk and my trot's not too bad. I can wow them with my "WOOOO". How do I look?

"Purple seems to be my color!"

Good Luck Kellie!

I think that you would be a very good stand-in husky for a horsey!! You are probably more graceful at a trot than some horses are. Good luck to your girl at the show! Let us know how she does.

We didn't get to ride our horses last night. It was too hot in PGH. We let them all out in the turn-out to just be horses & to play with each other. I like to do that occasionally. Then we hosed the dirt off of them, gave them their treats (apples & carrots), a pat on their rumps & called it a night.

AND, purple is just your color!

I don't know why they'd take a horse when they have a Siberian Husky there and ready.

Good luck Kellie! I let the little biped practice riding horsey on me....when I have enough I just get up and walk away from her....

I think you are much cuter than a big ol' horse! And I'm sure your prance and walk is much prettier too.

Good luck to your human!!!!

Cosmos - My girl hasn't been riding alot because of the heat either. She said she's going into withdrawal.

Sasha - My thoughts exactly!

Kapp Pack - I'm glad my girl's too big to ride me because I have a feeling I'd have to hide from her!

Turbo - Thanks for the good wishes.

Tasha - I like Purple!

Holly - I know I smell better than a horse!

AO4 - It's official....Purple has been endorsed by Dave - Guide Dog To The Colorblind!

P.S. The show was a great experience for our girl, and was her 1st official show. The competition was tight and she didn't place but that's okay. She sure looked great! You can see her picture on the sidebar to the Blog. We thank everyone for their good wishes.
